  • NLM IHM
    Images from the History of Medicine (IHM) provides access to nearly 70,000 images in the collections of the History of Medicine Division (HMD) of the U.S National Library of Medicine (NLM). The collection includes portraits, photographs, caricatures, genre scenes, posters, and graphic art illustrating the social and historical aspects of medicine dated from the 15th to 21st century.
  • NLM Anatline
    The U.S. National Library of Medicine's Visible Human Project has produced high resolution (4096 x 2048 x 24 bits) cryosectional color images of human anatomy. The Lister Hill National Center for Biomedical Communications, an R&D division of the NLM, through its Communications Engineering Branch, has created a database for this image dataset as well as for 3D rendered images of anatomic objects created from cryosectional images (cross-sections or slices).
  • HON Media
    HONmedia is a free service offered by the Health On the Net Foundation, a non-profit, non-governmental organisation. All the images from the HONmedia database have been selected and indexed according to the MeSH medical classification system. Each image's origin is clearly identified and the images are never saved locally on the HON server. HONmedia accesses all images directly from the server of origin. The author can, at any time, request HON to remove their images from HONmedia.

    La Red REA/OER es un proyecto de la Organización Panamericana de la Salud, liderados por el Campus Virtual de Salud Pública (CVSP) y la Biblioteca Virtual de Salud (BVS), que tiene como propósito la creación de una Red de Recursos Educacionales Abiertos que permita la publicación, búsqueda y recuperación de objetos de aprendizaje a nivel de la región de las americas. Los repositorios de objetos y recursos de aprendizaje en los nodos del Campus sirven para referenciar y socializar a través de toda la red la existencia de dichos objetos con buscador propio y publicación de canales RSS temáticos pertinentes.
